As the two streams pass through the HVR they do not mix. They pass on either side of an aluminum heat exchange core which transfers heat from the outgoing air to the incoming air. The efficiency of the Lifebreath Heat Recovery Ventilator is so great that virtually none of the warmth collected from your home is lost to the outside. In summer, the HRV works in reverse – removing heat from the incoming air and transferring it to the outgoing air, to keep your home cool and fresh.

4 Stage Electronic Air Cleaning Process

The furnace blower moves the dirty air throughout the house into the electronic air cleaner. The prefilter first removes all of the larger particulate matter. Smaller particles are then given a powerful positive electrical charge. These charged particles are then attracted to the grounded plates where they adhere like a magnet until washed away during the cleaning. Finally the clean air passes through activated carbon filters for odor removal.
